Chaos0911, it is such a pleasure having you with us today! You recently released the excellent “Breaking Hearts,” a great addition to your discography. We are thrilled to know more about your artistic journey so, let’s start from the very beginning. When did you discover your passion for music?
Well, all my life I have been around music but my older brother was a huge hip-hop head so I would always hear it coming from his room and liked it. I really got inspiration from seeing people around my town do it and seeing that it can be done at home, so I bought my first set up and here we are!!
Where does your artist’s name come from?
My name, Chaos0911, comes from the point in my life where I started with music. It was a very chaotic point in my life so I went with the name Chaos. The 0911 is my birthday, September 11th.
Your sound is pretty unique, blending the effectiveness of Hip-Hop beats with a more melodic and pop-oriented melody structure. What are the artists who inspire you?
Well, my sound comes from blending all of hip hop along with a little pop. Since I have listened to hip-hop my whole life, that’s the root of it, but as of late, I have listened to more pop/rap such as Nic D and Connor Price so that is where the kinda chill pop vibes come from. other than that I just let the music come to me and make what I think feels right!!

You are both a recording artist and a producer. This is a great balance as gives you a wider perspective on the music you work on. How important is it for you to have this double viewpoint when working with artists on their beats and bases?
I think it is a little important because I kinda know what an artist looks for in a beat. Also, I got my start as a producer by recording other artists before I became an artist myself or a beatmaker so that definitely helps me by knowing the recording process. All in all, it does help but every artist is an individual so you need to cater to each differently.
Great music starts with great songwriting. Can you reveal what your creative process is? How does your music come to life?
Honestly, I just go with what feels right. I may make a few chords and it can give me an idea or I could just hear a melody in my head and try to lay it down. Either way, I just get behind the computer and do what I love to do and create.
Where do you find your inspiration?
My inspiration most def comes from my wholehearted love for music and my most precious joy ever my daughter. she is a 4-year-old nonverbal child with autism which can certainly be challenging at times but I see her overcome obstacles every day so who am I to complain about little bumps in the road you know? she also loves music and will sometimes just beat on things in a rhythm and that too could spark inspiration. As far as mainstream inspiration people like Russ, Connor, and Nic D are huge inspirations because they show people like me that you can do it all on your own with little to no team and be a huge success; that’s definitely inspiration there.
The recent evolution of AI linked to modern software is changing the way young and seasoned artist create their music. What are your thoughts about it? Do you think AI can help creators or will only allow everyone to create copy-and-paste beats that will eventually end up over-saturating the music panorama?
Honestly, I think it is already oversaturated… almost anyone can buy a cheap setup and do this themselves. I think it could really go either way thou. BroBeatztv made a good point the other day in saying it could actually make things easier on producers bc look at all these AI-generated songs… who owns it if a program made it… so, in turn, we can get samples out of those songs with no copyright… it is all evolution. everything advances you just have to learn to adapt!! Dedication, drive, and persistence are key.

If you could collaborate with one of the artists who inspired you in this musical journey, who would you like to share a song with?
That is a tough one but I must say I would like to collaborate with Graham the producer behind Connor and Nic’s music. He makes really good beats and those are the artists I would like to work with.
What are your plans for this new year?
Going into 2024 all I want to do is grow my craft. become better than ever before and reach more people with my music. I also want to collaborate a lot more with different people. that is on my to-do list!!! Last but not least I just want to continue to be a good father and provide for my baby girl!!
Chaos0911, it was such a pleasure having you with us today! Is there anything you would like to say to our readers?

If you are out there wanting to begin music I’d say go for it it is a very joyful thing but it is a lot of work!!
