Hi Chris, thanks a lot for being here with us today! Your latest single, “Onde e Gabbiani,” is such an intense, emotional, and powerful track! We are thrilled to know more about you and your artistic journey, so let’s start from the very beginning. When did you discover your passion for music?

Hi, thanks for the opportunity! I started playing the first chords, between the ages of eleven and twelve. At the time I was a carefree boy full of dreams :). The spark struck, when one day while going to a friend’s house I came across a video of a long-haired guitarist named Steve Vai, who was performing one of his most famous songs “for the love of good.” I was struck by so much virtuosity. After that video my life changed, I had one more reason to believe in something better.

Day after day, my passion has grown more and more, so much so that I started attending music schools early, I thank my family who has always supported me and sent me forward.

“Onde e Gabbiani” is truly a must-listen-to for all guitar music lovers. Can you tell us more about this piece?

I dare say if you allow me: For all lovers of good music.

The song was born on the return of a beautiful holiday spent with my girlfriend, on the beach I often saw these seagulls that almost merged with the sun and the waves of the sea. After recording the guitars, the final touch was given by my super guests: Billy Sheehan (David Lee Roth, Mr. Big, and The Winery Dogs.), Walfredo Reys Jr. (Santana, Traffic, Chicago), and last but not least, Carmen Costantino who graced the song with her melodious vocals.

Captivating and mesmerizing are some of the adjectives that describe your style. Can you reveal what your creative process is? How does your music come to life?

My compositions are born by chance. I believe they are gifts sent to us mortal beings from a higher entity. So we are just a transmission tool. I call myself “a little radio” playing music on behalf of God.

Where do you find your inspiration?

I find inspiration out of the chaos; I believe it dwells in everyone’s life. I really like to observe nature and people. Then once all this information has been collected, to compose you need a lot of tranquility and intimacy.

Are you planning any live gigs for 2023?

At the moment I am dedicating myself exclusively to the production of my album. I hope in the future to be able to play live.

What advice would you give to all those young guitarists making the first steps into music?

To believe in one’s dreams and to devote oneself to the guitar with passion, dedication and love without expecting anything in return. It is not us who choose, but it is the art that chooses us.

Another incredible track in your discography is “Road Beyond Borders” feat Brett Garsed. What’s the story behind this excellent track?

At first, I played the song to my former guitar teacher William Stravato, who immediately jumped at the opportunity, creating a beautiful arrangement that went very well with my guitar. And finally, the icing on the cake; the participation of the extraordinary Brett Garsed, a guitarist I’ve been following since I was a kid. I realized a little dream I had in my drawer. The song was so liked by Bred that he posted it in full on his YouTube channel.
