However, Preacher Picasso brings a breath of fresh air with a dose of smooth lyrics and cool laced beats. He calls his movement The New Alabama. The New Alabama describes Preacher Picasso by representing him as something fresh and dynamic. He’s bringing a new sound to the underground music scene in Alabama. A sound the south has not been accustomed to since both André 3000 and Big Boi. Mimicking the words of Andre Benjamin, “Preacher Picasso has something to say.”
